Nikki Lang at Kenny's Bar, Lahinch

Nikki Lang...
Wow!

I was lucky enough to get the call from Kennys Bar to come shoot the amazingly talented Nikki Lang on Friday.
She was incredible!
Nikki is a 19yr old singer/songwriter from Los Angeles and is here for a Uk&Irish Tour. She still has a few Irish dates left and i would advise anyone to go see her. Big voice and a Big Future for this small girl :)

As well as been incredibly talented at the mic she is also one of the nicest girls to talk to.. As long as us Irish don't talk too fast.. :)

I am making my way on foot to my local slab. Armed with just a camera bag i start to jog. Before getting a car i use to do this a lot. Almost everyday there was waves and sometimes twice id get excited at the chance of waves and find myself jogging the 2 mile trek to this slab. More that not finding no waves at all at the end. 

On this day it was 8 in the morning and i was jogging down when i heard a beep behind me. There was Fergal Smith accompanied with Paul Morgan on the search for waves. Being the nice guy he is Ferg let me tag along with them in the jeep.

This shot was from one of the crazier spots we checked.. Although this looks surf able it was acually a deathwish that day.. 

May 2009

Another early morning mission to Rileys here. 

This was this was the first session that Id ever seen some talented bodyboarders in Ireland doing there thing. I fell in love with there mad drops, crazy positioning and there all round madness in the water. On this day and on most days at Rileys you can hear the hoots and shouts from the shoulder as they take turns getting shacked. Much respect for them.

This is Shambles on a meaty one with Dan Skaj checking him out from the reef. Good Times!!

Just had a look through this Blogs stats..
Pretty insane results..
Was shocked to see that the blog had over 3,700 views so far..
Most of which are from Ireland but also getting a couple of hundred views from all the following countries..
United Kingdom, United States, Australia, France, Spain, Canada, Portugal, Germany and Russia!!
Just want to say thank you to all who think my blog is worth a read..

Hopefully i can try keep it interesting for everyone, even my new Russian followers who ever ye are.. :)

Heres two shots from a weekend spent will Ollie Fla..
Only spent 3 days with him and got about 10 or 15 magazine/advert worthy shots... Was pretty mad.. Your more than likely going to be seeing some of them in Tonnta's next issue..

Making a pretty nuts drop here..
He was taking off 15 yards deeper than most this day..
Iv seen him do drops like that about 100 times and i think he has only fell twice..  :)
Looking forward to a proper trip with this lad soon..
